I always go into new musicals with an open mind. Experiencing everything for the very first time is the best feeling ever, every emotion hits so much deeper, and I love that. But gosh… I had absolutely no idea it would break me this much. This is, by far, one of the most beautiful and pure musicals I’ve ever seen.

With leading roles by Georgina Castle as Lucy Whitmore and Josh St. Clair as Henry Roth, every character is portrayed with such warmth and honesty that it’s a joy to watch each of them grow and follow their own story. Henry does everything he can to make Lucy fall in love with him, but what if every date is their first date? He falls deeper in love each time, while she forgets him every night.

What stood out to me most was the purity of the entire show. It’s such a remarkable story, one that everyone can somehow relate to. The songs are incredible, and because it’s performed in a small, intimate venue, you’re so close to the stage that you can feel every facial expression and emotion, almost as if you’re part of the story yourself.

The musical is written by David Rossmer and Steve Rosen, and directed and choreographed by multi-Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw, who was also involved in Mean Girls and The Book of Mormon.

This is a story that will not disappoint, you’ll leave the theatre with a full heart and maybe even a few tears in your eyes. ❤️
