Love Quirks is an award-winning musical that follows the story of four flatmates as they navigate the ups and downs of love, friendship, and everything in between. What they discover is never what they expect, and each of them must face their own “love quirks” to move forward.
Recently, I had the opportunity to attend the press night of Love Quirks at The Other Palace in London, and let me just say, I think I’ve found a new favourite musical.
The story feels so familiar and relatable. We all struggle with finding love and being true to ourselves, and because of that, you really connect with the characters on stage.
The cast is fantastic, featuring Lewis Bear Brown as Ryan, Clodagh Green as Stephanie, Tom Newland as Chris, and Ayesha Patel as Lili. The songs are absolutely incredible — full of harmonies, humour, and heart.
What makes the show even more special is the space. Performed in the intimate Studio at The Other Palace, the team utilizes every inch of the stage to its advantage, from cleverly designed moving set pieces to chairs mounted on the walls. With no wings, the cast enters and exits through the audience, creating a unique and immersive experience.
🎭 Love Quirks runs only until 12th October at The Other Palace, so if you’re a musical lover, this is definitely one to catch before it closes!
